Medical Training "Procedures and principles of tactical care for the casualty in combat conditions" MODULE III
On 20.04.2024 and 21.04.2024 in Dołhe (Ukraine) as a part of the project "Support for Ukraine Mountain Rescues" a Medical Training "Procedures and principles of tactical care for the casualty in combat conditions" – MODULE III "Chest wounds, clearing the airway, tension pneumothorax" will be conducted. It is planned that in Medical Training 20 members of the NGO Mountains Guides Association “Rovin” acting as Mountain Rescuers and having the status of a member of the Ukrainian army will take part. Medical Training including 20 hours of classes will be conducted by 2 experts from Czech Republic. For participants board and accommodation will be provided.
Medical Training programme:
20.04.2024 08:00-18:00
a) patency of the airway (manual opening, nasopharyngeal tube, Emergency CRIC) - 3h
b) protection of breathing (occlusive dressings on the chest, decompression of pneumothorax) - 3h
c) respiratory pathophysiology - 2h
d)circulation, AVPU level of consciousness, hypovolemic shock and its assessment - 2h

e) improvised dressings - 2h
f) ways to ensure patency of the airways - with instruments, - without instruments - 3h
g) cardiopulmonary resuscitation - 5h

Due to the impossibility of the Czech experts to be physically present in Ukraine, the training was conducted on-line using experts and an interpreter from Poland on place. Thank you for your participation!!!
